What sports or activities are not covered by my travel insurance?

Leisure and competitive sporting events and activities are automatically covered by our personal travel plans except the following sporting events or activities The following activities are not insurable:
- Hiking, trekking, or mountaineering over 4,200m
- Hiking, trekking, or mountaineering which necessitates the use of crampons, ropes, ice axes and/or oxygen
- Outdoor rock climbing
- Free climbing
- Fish River Canyon hiking trail or run
- Boxing
- Cage fighting
- Mixed martial arts
- Roller derby
- Hunting
- Sky diving, parachuting, hang gliding
- Cliff diving, free diving, cave diving
- Underwater diving involving the use of any artificial breathing apparatus unless you either hold a valid open water diving certificate, or you are diving under the supervision of a qualified instructor
- Travelling in underwater submersible
- Tow-in surfing
- BMX riding and/or racing
- Mountain bike racing and/or downhill mountain biking
- Off-road and/or dirt-road motorcycling
- Quad biking
- Jet skiing
- Snow mobiles
- Motorised racing of any kind, including but not limited to motor vehicles, motorcycles, speedboats
- Horse racing
- White water rafting, level 5 and 6
- Professional sport unless you purchase the Comprehensive + plan
